2017 Solar Eclipse Viewing

Join the UA Physics and Astronomy students and faculty for a viewing of the August 2017 Solar Eclipse. We will have available solar light filters for viewing the eclipse safely as well as a projection of the Sun's light for easy and safe viewing. Stop by our set-up on the Quad side of Gallalee Hall to learn how eclipses work and enjoy the view. The highest obscuration visible from Tuscaloosa will be 90% at 1:30 PM.
